This iteration of a velociraptor head is based on the Jurassic Park version. This raptor is not anatomically correct and is missing key features like a narrow skull and feathers. In this version the raptors skull is much wider and has it’s eyes positioned on the side of its head, and is missing its proto feathers along its neck and at the tops of its head. The raptor was originally started in Zbrush as a high poly model, with all its skin details sculpted with Zbrush. It was than imported into 3D Max where using the step builder tool a low poly was drawn over it. Once finished this low poly raptor head was unwrapped and exported into Substance Painter. From here on all the baking, and texturing was done inside of Substance. Afterwards the model and textures were rendered inside of 3Ds Max using Arnold.
